In
white muscardine the remedy against Covid-19
Cacildo Marques, Sao Paulo.
The
poisonous castor beans on the table were certainly specimens of
coronavirus. And what is muscardine, its antidote?
Rapid
research has shown that it is a fungus, whose scientific name is
Beauveria
bassiana,
also Botrytis
bassiana,
and is better known as white muscardine.
The
first surprise was: it is a penicillium.
It
grows on all continents and has entomopathogenic power, causing a
plague that mainly attacks the silkworm. The fungus' scientific name
comes from the Italian entomologist Agostino Bassi, who, in 1835,
linked the silkworm disease to the presence of muscardin.
As
it is used to produce insecticide against various types of crop
parasites, it is familiar to researchers from Embrapa, the Brazilian
Agricultural Research Corporation, and from all institutions of its
kind in the world.
The
medicine that must come from muscardine can destroy the virus
directly, or it can, as it would be preferable, teach the beneficial
60 million bacteria and 48 million viruses in our body to devour all
types of coronaviruses. Only research can show what will actually
happen.
It
was a clear dream, those that one has a few seconds before waking up.
On a table were several reddish castor beans. Someone warned me that
they were very poisonous and were killing people all over the world.
But I knew that a book that was also on the table kept information
about the antidote. I opened the book and read, in large letters:
Muscardine.
If
I had not known the history of the benzene ring, which appeared in a
dream to Berzelius, I would not have taken my dream into account. But
I wrote it down, to go after information.
It
is therefore not difficult to create antibiotics and even antivirals
in laboratories, with great care, obviously, in tests with humans. If
what happened to me is in line with what happened to Berzelius, then
the muscardine antiviral responds as the medicine that is being
sought against Covid-19. Tests need to be done urgently.
I
publish this text on the date indicated above (August 2, 2020) in the
OCDC blog, a non-profit organization of which I am a founder, in the
neighborhood of Butantan, Sao Paulo.
